Watch the North Korean propaganda song that’s a TikTok hit (2024)

A patriotic anthem released on North Korean state TV in April has unexpectedly gone viral on TikTok, where Western Gen Z users are bopping around to the synthy-electro hit.

The tune describes leader Kim Jong Un as "warm-hearted" and "friendly". Songs about Kim Jong Un and the ruling Workers' Party of Korea are broadcast regularly in North Korea.
