INMATE FACILITY VISITATION – Home to SWVRJA? ›

This facility requires appointment by phone or in person prior to visitation day. The times to schedule a visit are Monday-Thursday 8:00AM-4:30PM, and Friday 8:00AM-3:30PM. All other details about visitation will be answered while making appointment.

Visitors must pre-register via the video visitation web-site or the visiting kiosk to schedule their visits and must be on the inmates' approved visitor list. All visitors are to report to the visiting lobby 15 minutes prior to their scheduled visit start time.

VISITATION GUIDELINES & REQUIREMENTS

All visits are by appointment only and must be scheduled 24 hours in advance by coming in to the jail or by registering online at www.securustech.net/videovisitation.Telephone appointment scheduling is not available.

To Schedule a visit, you either come to the TCJC Facility and schedule an onsite visit or through the Securus Website to schedule a remote online visit. All visits must be scheduled at least 24 hours in advance.

The Southwest Virginia Regional Jail Authority operates multiple facilities in the region, including the Duffield Facility located on Boone Trail Road. Offering inmate information, funds, mail, and phone services, the facility also provides video visitation and attorney verification.

Depositing Money into an Inmate's Account

There are kiosks located in the main lobby and in the Public Information Office located behind the facility on Court House Lane for deposits. Cash and Debit/Credit cards are accepted. Facility fees and medical fees will automatically be deducted from inmate accounts.

Valid picture identification is required to visit an inmate (this includes all forms of government identification cards). Visitors may be subject to a search of their person and belongings by correctional staff and are subject to warrant checks and arrest. Visitors must be 18 years or older to visit.

When will my video visitation be approved? o Video visitations are typically approved within 24 hours.

Despite the BOP's efforts to scale back on food expenditures, the meals remain substantial. Breakfast might include a variety of options such as danishes, cereal (hot or cold), and milk. The main meals of the day feature a rotation of hot dishes like chicken, hamburgers, hotdogs, lasagna, burritos, and fish patties.

How do I schedule a visit on Getting Out? ›

Once you log in to your GettingOut account, you can schedule a visit by clicking on the Visit link or the Contacts tab. Search for your friend by choosing their facility, choosing whether they're an adult or juvenile, and typing in their name.

Complete the VADOC visitation application and receive approval. Submit a separate video visitation application to AFOI. Once your paperwork has been processed, AFOI will contact you to complete registration. Schedule your visit through the AFOI website or by calling AFOI at (804) 643-2401.

Adult visitors will need to provide a valid government ID (examples: driver's license, military ID or any other government issued ID with photo, name, address and date of birth.) All visitors need to be on the "Approved Visitor List". Visitors need to sign up on line 48 hours prior to the inmate's scheduled day.

Visitors must complete a “request for visit” form with their name and information along with the booking number and name of the inmate. Typical visitations are at least four hours in length, so visitors should plan accordingly.
