FINAL FANTASY XIV Support Center (2024)

In most cases, the “No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV” error message indicates that you currently have an inactive subscription and/or you are attempting to utilize a service account that does not have a correct copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV registered.

To ensure that your service account is up-to-date and ready-to-play FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, we recommend that you visit the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site [https://sqex.to/Msp] to confirm the following:

1. Make sure you have a copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online: Starter Edition or FINAL FANTASY XIV Online: Complete Edition registered to your Service Account. To upgrade the FINAL FANTASY XIV Online free trial account to a retail version, you will need to purchase a retail copy of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online from an authorized video game retailer and register the included Product Registration Code/Promotional Code via the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site. (Please note: Digital Download versions purchased from the PlayStation Network Store do not require code-redemption.)

To ensure you have a full version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online registered to the account, please use the steps provided below:
-
Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site [https://sqex.to/Msp]
- Upon successful login, your Account Status will be displayed on the main page. This will show you what entitlements (or licenses) you currently have registered to the current Service Account. (Any registered licenses will be marked with a yellow “O”.)
- You will also be able to see your Service Account Status, which will indicate your subscription type, remaining days in your current billing cycle, and the total number of days you’ve subscribed. Please ensure that the value for “Remaining Days” is greater than 0, otherwise, a recurring subscription payment will be required to continue playing.

2. Make sure you have an active subscription. When the 30-Day free subscription time ends, all players who choose to continue playing the Game will automatically become subject to a recurring subscription. In order to access SQUARE ENIX’s servers to play the Game, you must agree to a recurring subscription with a minimum subscription term of 30 days, and pay a recurring subscription fee. Players can set-up and edit their subscription plan via the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site.

To ensure your subscription is active and up-to-date, please use the steps provided below:
-
Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site [https://sqex.to/Msp]
- Upon successful login, click on the “Your Account” tab near the TOP-LEFT of the page (just below the “Lodestone” button.)
- If you have more than one Service Account, please select the desired Service Account you wish to reactivate.(This will be highlighted in the GREEN section.)
- After you have confirmed the desired Service Account, please scroll down to the Subscription Renewal section, and select either “Credit Card/Crysta Payment” or “Add Game Time Card” and follow the on-screen steps to set-up your recurring subscription.
(You may also renew your recurring subscription by scrolling down to the Service Account Status section and clicking on “Add Subscription” just below the Remaining Days.)

3. Make sure your Service Account has not been cancelled. The service account in question may have been mistakenly “cancelled” or closed when opting out of your previous subscription. This is a rather common mistake that can be easily corrected by following the steps provided below:-Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site [https://sqex.to/Msp]
- Upon successful login, click on the“Your Account” tab near the TOP-LEFT of the page (just below the “Lodestone” button.)
- If you have more than one Service Account, please select the desired Service Account you wish to reactivate. (This will be highlighted in the GREEN section.)
- Under the “The following options are available for this account:” memo, you will see a button to “Reactivate Service Account”. Please click on this button to proceed to the reactivation-confirmation page. Upon confirmation, your Service Account will be successfully reactivated.
(*PLEASE NOTE: The “Reactivate Service Account” button will not appear if the service account is not cancelled.)

4. Make sure you are playing on the correct platform. FINAL FANTASY XIV is currently available to play on various platforms, including Windows, Steam, PlayStation®5, PlayStation®4, and Mac OS. However, your access is limited to the platform(s) you have registered on the account. For example: while the Windows version and Steam version both run on PC, Windows and Steam versions are not compatible with each other. (i.e. purchasing a Steam version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online will require you to purchase the Steam versions of any future DLC. Unfortunately, Non-Steam DLC will be incompatible with the Steam version of FINAL FANTASY XIV Online, and vice-versa.)

To ensure you are attempting to access the Game on the correct platform, please use the steps provided below:
- Log into the FINAL FANTASY XIV Mog Station web site [https://sqex.to/Msp]
- Upon successful login, your Account Status will be displayed on the main page. This will show you what entitlements (or licenses) you currently have registered to the current Service Account. (Any registered licenses will be marked with a yellow “O”.)
- You will also be able to see your Service Account Status, which will indicate your subscription type, remaining days in your current billing cycle, and the total number of days you’ve subscribed. Please ensure that the value for “Remaining Days” is greater than 0, otherwise, a recurring subscription payment will be required to continue playing.

5. Violation of the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement. In rare cases, the “No valid service account is available to play FINAL FANTASY XIV” error may also indicate that the service account in question may have been found in violation of the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement and has been suspended and/or permanently banned.

Please note that all account actions are reviewed and applied at the discretion of SQUARE ENIX. Listed below are the main reasons why a service account would be suspended:

- Actions taken by the account are in violation of the FINAL FANTASY XIV User Agreement

- Account found to be committing Prohibited Activities within FINAL FANTASY XIV

If you have any questions regarding the suspension or if you do not agree with the action taken against the account, additional assistance can be requested by reviewing the following Knowledge base Article:

If neither of the listed causes relate to you and for all other inquiries, please select "Additional Assistance" located at the bottom of this Knowledge Base article. Enter the contact details and select "Next." Select "Next" again on the Support Information page to request assistance.

We hope this information has been helpful, and we hope you continue to enjoy playing FINAL FANTASY XIV Online.

From my experience, Steam support takes about 1-3 days to get back to you. Though, if it's around big sales or the holidays, brace yourself for a longer wait. Had an issue with a game last month, and Steam got back to me within 24 hours. Their support was surprisingly quick and helpful!
